Parmco’s 7-year warranty applies to almost all major domestic appliances purchased for household use, including wall ovens, freestanding cookers, cooktops, rangehoods, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, refrigeration, and waste disposal units.

Yes. Parmco domestic waste disposal units (such as the GD series) carry the full 7-year manufacturer warranty.

Parmco’s 7-year warranty applies strictly to domestic household use (including residential rental properties). If an appliance is installed in a commercial premise, office, staffroom, or commercial kitchen, a reduced commercial warranty applies.

Standard consumable parts and normal wear-and-tear items are not covered by the long-term warranty. Excluded items include:

  • Light bulbs and globes
  • Rangehood filters (carbon filters and aluminium mesh filters)
  • Standard cosmetic wear and tear, superficial scratches, or damage caused by abrasive cleaners
  • Damage caused by accidental breakage, misuse, or foreign objects in pumps or disposers

Yes. To maintain full warranty coverage, all appliances must be installed in accordance with New Zealand regulations and the manufacturer installation manual. Gas and hardwired electrical appliances must have compliant certificates issued by registered New Zealand tradespeople (which are automatically provided when installed through One Stop Appliances).

If a service issue arises during the warranty period, service is handled directly by Parmco’s nationwide network of authorised service technicians. You will just need your proof of purchase (invoice from One Stop Appliances), appliance serial number, and relevant gas compliance certificate if applicable.
