Appliance Connections and Standard Installation:

All appliance sales that include standard installation operate on a strict like-for-like replacement basis into existing, compliant utilities. Complimentary old appliance removal and off-site disposal is included at the customer’s request. Standard pricing excludes non-standard electrical, plumbing, gas fitting, or cabinetry alterations. Any required remediation or supplementary work identified on site will be quoted separately prior to commencement. Gas connections.

Standard installation for Gas – involves disconnecting old unit and fitting new unit with an allowance for a new gas hose. If the device requires jets to be changed these will done – please note no allowance for any new pipework being added or a new bayonet fitting – if additional work pipework is required this will be quoted separately. A gas certificate will be supplied by a registered New Zealand gasfitter as part of the cost for all new installations completed.

EV Chargers

Please note standard installation is up to 5 metres maximum from the MSB  distribution board. Please note that for additional metres above 5 metres, if the charger is located further than 5 metres away will incur additional cable conduit and fitting charges. This is usually about $50 per metre including GST.
